Trim Levels
You can choose from five trim levels with the Rogue: the S, SV, Midnight Edition, SL, and Platinum. The base trim is well-decked out with standard features that include 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, LED daytime running lights, and a rear spoiler. The SV trim adds 18-inch alloy wheels and heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators. With the new Midnight Edition, you receive a rear diffuser, a power liftgate, black badging, black wheels, and black roof rails. Apart from a dual-panel panoramic moonroof, the SL trim adds 19-inch aluminum wheels and side mirrors with a reverse tilt-down feature. The range-topping Platinum trim is equipped with a motion-activated liftgate.
Engine
All Rogue trims are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and forward-drive comes standard. You can opt for an available all-wheel-drive system on all trims.
Performance
The Rogue boasts the world's first variable compression turbo engine, which can transform on demand. When you're accelerating, the compression ratio is automatically lowered to produce more power. For increased efficiency, on the other hand, the compression rises when you ease up. The fuel efficiency of this engine is excellent and is estimated at 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. For enhanced traction, opt for the available all-wheel-drive system. When you're driving on challenging surfaces, the system delivers power to both the front and rear wheels for greater grip. On smooth highways, however, power is sent only to the front wheels for greater efficiency.
Interior
The Rogue's cabin is elegant and spacious. Passengers receive plenty of seating space and the rear cargo area provides 31.6 cubic of space. Models that come with an adjustable cargo floor features an even bigger rear cargo area of 36.5 cubic feet. Folding down the rear seats opens up a maximum cargo area of 74.1 cubic feet. The standard 8-inch infotainment system offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, four speakers, satellite radio, and Bluetooth. Other standard features include air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and cloth seats. For a more luxurious ride, opt for available amenities such as tri-zone automatic climate control, rear door sunshades, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. With the class-exclusive Divide-N-Hide cargo system, you can choose from up to six configurations, which include a secret storage space and a series of flexible shelving.
Safety Features
All Rogues are equipped with Nissan Safety Shield, which consists of a comprehensive range of standard driver-assist features. These include forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot warning. You also get rear cross-traffic alert, a rearview monitor, a rear sonar system, and a driver alertness system. For an even safer ride, invest in available systems, such as ProPilot assist, lane intervention, a surround-view monitor, and traffic sign recognition.
