Affordable compact sedans don’t need to be plain, inconvenient, or uncomfortable, and no other vehicle makes that point better than the 2024 Nissan Sentra. It’s an attractive car with a smaller footprint that not only gets superior gas mileage but is also super comfy and has standard safety features that other manufacturers often charge extra for.
Design
As you might expect, the 2024 Sentra is an excellent daily driver for zipping around town or commuting to work. However, with all the legroom in both front and back rows, spacious cargo area, and ultra-comfortable zero gravity bucket seats, you and your family will also enjoy long road trips in supreme comfort. Better yet, you’ll be driving everywhere in style with the Sentra’s sharply angled front lines surrounding the edgy black grille with chrome accents.
Although the 2024 Sentra base model S trim is one of the least expensive new cars on the road today and has a great deal to offer without spending an extra penny, it also has some very tempting options. For instance, you can have illumination all around the car whenever you get near it with the key fob, if you add the available perimeter approach lighting feature.
Performance
All three 2024 Sentra trim levels have front-wheel drive with a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers 149 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque. Fuel efficiency is excellent, and a push-button ignition is standard, as well.
The sporty little 2024 Sentra sedan has an advanced steering system and multi-link rear suspension. Together, they make turning every corner an absolute joy.
Technology
A 4-speaker audio system with speed-sensitive volume control and illuminated steering wheel-mounted audio controls is standard on the Sentra’s lowest S trim. The infotainment system features a 7-inch touchscreen display, wireless Bluetooth audio streaming and hands-free phone connectivity, Android Auto compatibility with Google Assistant, and Apple CarPlay integration with Siri Eyes Free. An auxiliary audio input jack and USB port are also included.

Nissan certainly didn’t skimp when it came to providing the 2024 Sentra with advanced driver’s aid and safety features. Every trim level has a generous number of standard features, such as:
