Trim Levels of the 2022 Nissan Frontier

When it comes to buying a truck, we know our drivers love the opportunity to personalize their purchase and get the truck that suits them and their needs best, so with four flexible trim levels to choose from, we know our customers are going to love the new 2022 Nissan Frontier! There’s a lot of room for customization when it comes to the 2022 Frontier, so we put together a quick list to introduce drivers to the 4 trim levels it comes available in.

1. Frontier S

The base model of the 2022 Frontier, the Frontier S, is the standard for this year’s Frontier, but it certainly isn’t lacking in features or capability. It comes with the 2022 Frontier’s standard 3.8L V6 engine that delivers 310 horsepower, impressive safety features like automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and available 4×4. Even in its base model format, it’s quite the truck!

Even at the base model the Nissan Frontier already offers drivers a slew of options for personalizing their Frontier experience. For starters, it comes available in either the King Cab, with a 6-foot bed, or Crew Cab, with a 5-foot bed. The Frontier S also gives drivers the option between the 2WD or 4WD version.

2. Frontier SV

Moving up one trim level, the Frontier SV comes with all the features and flexibility of the Frontier S, but with some exciting additional features standard as well. These include dual power outside mirrors, tow/haul mode, and the option to extend the bed of the Crew Cab version of the Frontier SV to be a 6-foot bed, which is as long as the King Cab model.

Buyers who opt for this trim level still have the option of the King or Crew Cab, as well as the choice between 2WD and 4WD, and can also opt for the available 4×4 and an available 9-speaker Fender audio system.

3. Frontier Pro-X

The Frontier Pro-X upgrades everything you get with the Frontier SV with a little bit of extra comfort, technology, and capability. Inside the cab, the Frontier Pro-X trim will give you a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment console, while outside you get the benefit of the addition of added Bilstein shocks. This trim also features different styling from the S and SV trims: exterior red accents (and red and charcoal accents in the cab) mean the Pro-X is bound to stand out from the competition!

4. Frontier Pro-4X

The king of the hill, in terms of the 2022 Frontier’s trim levels. The Frontier Pro-4X is the only Frontier to come standard with 4WD. It also features enhanced styling along the lines of the Pro-X, and a few extra off-road features (such as off-road suspension and 3 skid plates) that makes the Pro-4X the most ruggedly capable version of the Frontier on the market in 2022. Additional comfort features also include an available wireless charger, heated steering wheel, and more.
